Obverse:
Young head of Queen Victoria facing left, hair neatly tied in a bun, legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, date 1881 below. The portrait is sharply struck with excellent detail in the hair and ear, showing full mint definition.
Reverse:
Crowned quartered shield of arms within a wreath, legend BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF. Crisp shield details with strong definition in the lion quarters and harp.
Grade & Surface:
Certified Mint State 63 by NGC. Attractive original lustre with light contact marks consistent with the grade. No wear. A very pleasing uncirculated example of this late Young Head issue.
