A crisp and attractive Mint State example with strong detail throughout. The obverse portrait of George VI is sharp, with clean hair detail and good lustre remaining across the fields. The reverse (quartered shield with crowned lion) typically comes well struck for the 1950 issue, and in MS63, the surfaces show only light contact marks consistent with the grade.
1950 is the final circulating Half Crown of George VI and is widely collected as a type coin for post-war British decimal-era design.
