1927 George V Silver Proof Crown
NGC – Proof Details (Obverse Corrosion)
A certified 1927 Proof Crown from the first year of the wreath crown series under George V.
This is a fully struck proof example with strong reverse detail and attractive overall presence. The reverse wreath and crown retain excellent definition, and the coin displays the sharp character expected of the issue.
NGC have certified the coin as Proof Details – Obverse Corrosion. The noted surface disturbance is visible under inspection but does not detract significantly from the coin’s display appeal. The reverse, in particular, presents very well.

Why This Example?
The 1927 crown marks the introduction of the modified crowned wreath reverse, a short and collected series struck 1927–1936. Problem-free graded proofs command strong premiums. This piece offers the opportunity to secure a certified proof example at a considerably more accessible level.
A solid cabinet example for the serious British silver collector.
