Description

A superb certified example of the 1945 George VI Half Crown, struck in the final year of the Second World War.

Obverse features the bare head of George VI facing left with full Latin legend. Portrait detail is sharp, with strong hair definition and clear ear and jawline — typical of a solid MS63.

Reverse (quartered shield with crowned royal arms) displays excellent strike detail with strong definition in the harp and lion quarters. Good original mint lustre remains across both sides with light contact marks consistent with the grade.

An attractive mid-Mint State example in an NGC holder — ideal for collectors seeking high-grade wartime silver.
